Getting Involved
By keeping informed you are taking the first step to becoming more involved. If the information you receive makes you want to take the next step here are some possible ways:

  • When land use rules are being reviewed in your city or county go to the meetings and make sure they are thinking about how pipelines fit into the land use rules.
  • Check with your local fire department to see if they have made any of the special training regarding pipelines available to their firefighters.
  • If a pipeline incident happens in your area, or if a new pipeline is proposed, make your concerns known.
